Completed on December 1, 1988, the Maeheon Yun Bong-gil Memorial Museum was established through public donations to honor and carry forward the patriotic spirit of Yun Bong-gil (1908–1932), who devoted his life to rural enlightenment and the courageous struggle for national independence.
